Working towards the Cambridge IGCSEs syllabus, this first language English taught will develop the students ability to communicate clearly, accurately and effectively when speaking and writing. Students will become competent with a wide range of vocabulary utilizing the correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Students will develop their own personal style and awareness of the audience they’re to address.
Students are encouraged to read a vast array of literature both for their own enjoyment but also to increase their ways of which English can be used. This first language English will also develop communication skills including inference and the ability to order facts and present their opinions in a more effective manner.
This will enable the student to move on to further education or to employment.
